THE HISTORY

Henri Julien, an enthusiastic mechanic, created the AGS (Automobiles Gonfaronnaises Sportives) race team at Gonfaron (Var) in 1968, a team which was soon to go through all the stages of single-seater automobile competition:
. Formule France - Formule Renault ,
. Formule Renault-Europe - Formula 2 - F3000
and finally Formula1 (from 1986 to 1991).

AGS withdrew from the Formula 1 World Championship in 1991 and, one year later, created the concept of F1 as a leisure pastime. This allowed anyone of sound health to experience the incredible sensations that are usually an F1 driver's exclusive preserve.

These initiation courses into F1 driving are as much for individuals as for groups or businesses ( VIP or incentive programmes).
In 12 years, AGS Formule 1 has welcomed more than 18.000 enthusiastic trainees and in so doing has become by far the world leader in the field.
